Two Fully-Funded PhD Positions in Operations Management, George Mason University (Fall 2027)
The Information Systems and Operations Management area at the Costello College of Business, George Mason University, invites applications for two fully-funded PhD positions in Operations Management (OMGT), starting in Fall 2027. Funding covers up to five years, with a tuition waiver and an annual stipend of $36,000. We seek self-motivated applicants with strong quantitative skills and a commitment to research excellence. A business degree is not required, and applicants from a range of academic backgrounds, including mathematics, economics, engineering, statistics, and computer science, are welcome. Our faculty, who specialize in sustainable operations, innovative business models, supply chain management, service and retail operations, platform operations, pricing and revenue management, new product development, and healthcare operations, publish in leading journals such as Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and Journal of Operations Management.
