学了个昏天暗地累死累活有个屁用,
一天到晚微积分实分析那个证明题死磕磕得气血竭尽昼夜颠倒有个屁用,
到最后还是找不到工作, 赚不到半点碎两银子,
听中介的鬼话来UTSG数统,
把数学浪漫化理想化认认真真硬刚刚到吐血,
最后基本经济自立都成问题,
burnout精神崩溃, 无能狂怒, 阴暗扭曲, 流落街头当homeless尖叫发疯......
我只想找个工作好好活着啊, 放过孩子吧

okk夸张了 😂没那么严重 😂现在就不知道是该去

1. 加深PowerBI (还没正儿八经学过), 再练练SQL, Python (LeetCode), 然后投DA类型的岗位, 以及这样的话要不要做相关的project, 怎么做

2. 自学机器学习 (Coursera OR Hands on ML), 做机器学习project, 投Quant/MLE实习

3. 认认真真上课, 保GPA(已经在掉了, 上学期状态太差, STA257考了78❗, 最后结束3.81), 随心顺其自然找RA, 然后看情况读研或找entry level, 暑假就做tutor

求求过来人给个建议吧, 这一届真的好难

没有一个真实的有价值的工作和实习经历，当然找不到工作。

感觉你把你简历丢给Chatgpt过目一下，比你跑地里来“精神崩溃, 无能狂怒, 阴暗扭曲, 流落街头当homeless尖叫发疯” 要更高效些。 lol

顺便让gpt给你推荐几个实用的项目做一做，为下一年做准备。

什么excel，ms office啥的别往简历上放，卖菜大妈都会；
还有什么“independent digital creator”，跟你做统计DA SDE有啥关联。

这个简历看上去没有实际的实习经历啊
得有点拿得出手的东西吧
哪怕是个小公司，只要实际做过commercial level的项目
之后就好找多了

买个claude帮你写两个项目就够了hh

1. 通篇简历除了学校和cgpa，剩下的全是废话
2. 这是找ba还是会计工作吗？怎么能写excel
3. 脑子活点，没有北美的实习先找个国内的过渡一下（最好大厂的）
4. soft skills全部删掉，没谁会相信一个学生自吹自擂什么public speaking
5. 所有项目一个有含金量的都没有。你都学数学了，不会不知道有个东西叫kaggle吧
6. 数学就真的看人，只能说方差比较大，没必要自我贬低

我也是多大的，你要真痛苦的话，与其神学我跟推荐你去上vervake的心理课跟他聊或者去读那个大陆哲学

才大二，去哪儿找有价值的工作实习经历

现在AI这么好用，不妨试试给开源的项目类似k8这种contribute一下。让Claude code这种把整个项目都过一遍你就知道从哪里开始了。一两个开源贡献（不是那种doc update/refactoring）已经比很多人强了。

没有正经公司的经验啊，project也没impact光看描述就是很toy的感觉；TA至少算份正经工作，起码能传达出你知道怎么拿着工资上班的一些基本的东西；我建议直接把乱七八糟和找工作没关系的全部删掉（什么奖学金、没听说过的cert..找工作没人关心的 而且只会消耗hr的精力和非常有限的看简历的时间) 用一段profile/summary替换掉，再把bullet points重新往industry写一下
